Brian got into financial planning at the age of 16 when his dad passed away. Leaving the family on shaky ground without life insurance and savings. Brian was able to pay off the family’s short-term debts and buy his mom a brand-new car while working at the NY Times, printing newspapers. Before he knew it, people were coming to him for financial advice. As they say, we do things out of inspiration and desperation, Brian was both inspired and desperate.

Brian Farkas is President and founder of Barons Financial Strategies, Inc.  an independent Financial Services firm. Brian specializes in using an in- depth, financial analysis approach to assist his clients in creating wealth management strategies to help achieve their financial goals. Before starting Barons in 1996, Brian was at Chase Financial Services in charge of all high-net-worth clients in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY. Prior to that, Brian was at Chemical Bank's Investment Services and when they merged, Brian was hand-picked for the Chase Position.

Brian is actively involved in the many phases of his clients' lives. He advises clients and their families on: Wealth Building, Portfolio Management, which has many disciplines, Creating income strategies for retirement, Works with many attorneys on Estate and Elder Care planning, using Life Insurance with Long Term Care Riders to preserve your legacy for Estate Planning and paying the Estate Taxes. When tax time approaches, Brian and his staff work with all of the client's accountants as needed.

Last but not least is the communication that clients love advising them on their accounts and latest information to help them achieve their Financial Goals. Every quarter, clients are advised as to account performance and whether changes are necessary which is why we receive client referrals almost daily. 

When Brian's dad passed, he called many Financial Advisors for guidance, however because there wasn't any money, no one would help him. That's why Brian doesn't have any minimums. One client when they met had high credit card balances and within 1 year, they were all paid off and now they have a lot of money with Brian and 3 properties, 2 of which provide income. 

Brian and his wife split their time between Boynton Beach, FL and Long Island, NY. No matter where Brian is, he can be found at his desk between 8 & 4.
